THE MERLINATOR!!!!

The day we left Bear Lake we stopped by Merlins Drive in. Another friend had told us about this place. They have a huge 1lb hamburger called the Merlinator. The meat patty is actually 1lb, then you add in all the toppings and bun and you one heck of a burger! So the challenge went out to the dads in our group to see if they could eat it. It was os funny. The owner brings it our wiht a bumper sticker, and takes a polaroid pic of you to go on the "WALL". Picture a take out container from any restaurant, and hte burger took up the whole thing. So alas, here is proof of the merlinator and all who finished!

The last picture is of Ben and Russ. We call them the Half Merlinators, since they had to split one. It was so funny watching the dads try to finish the "BIG" burger!

BEAR LAKE

WE went up to Bear lake last week with some friends. We had a total of 4 families with ???? kids! We stayed at the KOA in a little storage shed cabin, and rode dirt bikes and had a ton of fun. The Phillips have an Arctic Cat Prowler, that was the hit with all the kids. mAll of the moms got to go out on a ride with no kids, and we laughed and giggled the whole time! We were bombarded by grasshoppers, not to mention there is about 6 inches of legroom in the back seat, so figure two moms in the back with arms and legs hanging out. Another big hit with the dads was our little ttr90 yamaha motorcycle. To give you an example Jessie is almost to big for the bike. But that didn't stop everyone from riding and having fun!

Now did I mention our cabin??? We drove up and I thought ok we're by the storage sheds. right? NOPE! it was our cabin. I have to admit thought they were very comfortable. I did have to get a picture of Ben and Barbara's lovely uneven paneling inside theirs.

Ok now here's the funny part. Here's our cabins, and here is Shari's cabin right acrossed the street. It was the ghetto and the suburbs!

Have I said how much I enjoy my job??? I work for JetBlue airlines, and we are the official airline of the LA Dodgers. I bleed Dodger blue, so I was more than excitred when they offered us half price tickets! Steve, Cammi and I took a day trip to catch a game. Jessie was spending time with friends, and Kaylie had school. We had awesome seats, and a line drive during batting practice nearly took out Cammi, Steve caught the ball between his back and the seat, so we ended up with an authentic souvenir!!!

Will, one week old and at his first soccer game!!!

Here's Cammi in her first competetive soccer tourney. She's #5. (white shirt)

TWILIGHT!

Ok, so I'm hooked. My friend Jill, (thanks) gave me the book to read, a day later I borrowed New Moon, Two days later, she was reading Eclipse, so I bought it. Then she talked me into going with her to the twilight book party at barnes and nobles. What can I say, I am hooked! They were good books, great story and it was easy reading. I love Edward, and now I am sure Jill will talk me into going to a midnight showing of hte movie or something to that effect. Love you Jill! I'd go anyways!

HE'S HERE!!!

For those of you who know my little sister Aly was pregnant. She and her little beach ball had been hanging out for a few weeks now, and she was over due, not fun for your first baby. Anyways... He made his debut at 3:11 this morning (7Aug), weighing in at 9lbs 5oz, and 22" long, big baby in a small body. We got to go and see him today and thought we'd share some pictures. Jessie called it, she said "she's going to have that baby when I'm at camp". Sure enough, Jessie comes home tomorrow, hopefully she doesn't feel too bad.
